Runtime security and threat defence

See every threat the moment it hits your app

IronSKY monitors your app while it runs, checks the device environment for root and jailbreak, and applies the response you set, in real time.

  • Active monitoring
  • Real-time response
  • Zero-day attack detection

What IronSKY does

Mission control for your mobile app

Without visibility on the device, there is a blind spot attackers exploit. IronSKY closes it for apps running on devices your organisation cannot see, and acts as first responder when something fires.

  • Active monitoring. Threat types, risk devices, location and app version in one real-time dashboard.
  • Real-time response. Log, warn, restrict, suspend or exit, set per threat by you.
  • Dynamic environment checks. Root, jailbreak, emulators, hooking and debuggers detected as they appear.
  • Threat defence inside the app. No separate security app for your customers to install.
Key highlight

Built to detect zero-day attacks

A zero-day is an attack no signature catalogue has seen yet, such as a new malware variant built against one app. IronSKY’s behaviour-based detection does not wait for a name. It recognises what is being done to your app, so the first sighting is caught, not the second.

  1. A new technique appearsNo signature exists. A defence that relies on having seen it before stays silent.
  2. IronSKY sees the behaviourHooking, injection, debugging, overlays and virtualisation are observable whatever the tool is called.
  3. Logged live, response appliedThe event reaches your team the second it fires, and the policy you set runs on the device.
Illustrative example

What one attack looks like in IronSKY

A hooking framework attaches to your banking app while a customer is on the payment screen.

  1. On the deviceA hook attachesA hooking framework attaches to your app mid-session, on a phone you do not control.
  2. What IronSKY detectsThe technique, not the nameBehaviour-based detection recognises the hooking whatever the tool is called. Signatures name it too if it is a known one.
  3. In the consoleEvidence, logged liveA timestamped incident with the threat type and a device fingerprint, so repeat attempts link back to one attacker.
  4. The end userYour policy runs on the deviceThe response you set applies at once: log, warn, restrict, suspend or exit. A hook can be treated more strictly than a rooted phone.
  5. Your security teamSee it, route it, tune itThe event reaches your team the second it fires, flows to your SIEM by push or pull API, and informs the next policy change.
What sets IronSKY apart

Signature plus behaviour-based detection

Signatures name what is known. Behaviour catches what is new. A defence that relies on either one alone leaves a gap, so SecIron runs both.

Signature-based

Names known threats fast

Matches against a catalogue of known malware families. High confidence, a named family, and useful evidence for reporting and incident response.

Behaviour-based

Catches what nobody has named

Identifies what is being done to your app: a hooking framework attaching, a debugger connecting, an overlay drawn over a payment screen. Techniques change far more slowly than tools, so a new variant still registers.

Together they cover the known and the unknown, and every detection reaches your team the second it happens.

01

Real time, not nightly

On-device fraud completes in seconds. Every incident is logged the moment it fires, across your whole app portfolio.

02

Track and block

Attack source tracing and unique device fingerprints link many instances to one attacker, with a configurable blocking policy.

03

Audit-ready by default

A timestamped, exportable incident log with push and pull API into your SIEM.

FAQ

Before you book

Is IronSKY the same as device-level mobile threat defence?

No. IronSKY monitors from inside your app, so it protects your app on any user device without a separate security app for customers to install.

Can it detect zero-day attacks?

Yes. Behaviour-based detection recognises techniques such as hooking, debugging and overlays rather than named malware, so a variant nobody has catalogued still registers.

What is the difference between signature-based and behaviour-based detection?

Signature-based detection recognises known malware families. Behaviour-based detection recognises techniques, so it also catches variants nobody has catalogued yet. SecIron combines both.

What can the response policy do?

Log, warn, restrict, suspend or exit, set per threat. A rooted device and a hooking framework do not have to get the same treatment.

Can it feed our SIEM?

Yes. IronSKY offers push and pull API access, customisable data views and a timestamped incident log that doubles as audit evidence.

Can we try it on our own app?

Yes. A proof of concept runs in days. We protect one of your apps for your team to test on real devices.

Can we start in monitoring mode before enforcing responses?

Yes. The response is set per threat and logging is one of the options. You can start by logging only, see what is real on your own app, then move individual threats up to warn, restrict, suspend or exit.

How do we tune detections and handle legitimate users?

Because the response is set per threat, a rooted device and a hooking framework do not have to be treated the same. Your local SecIron team helps you tune the policy during the proof of concept and after rollout.

Do I have to share my app to attend the demo?

No. Bring an APK, AAB or IPA if you would like to see IronSKY on your own app. If not, we use a SecIron sample app. No source code is needed either way.

Is the proof of concept free?

Yes. The proof of concept is free. We protect one of your apps for your team to test on real devices.

What does IronSKY give my team?

Real-time threat detection, incident logging, dashboard visibility and exportable reports.
